This week we'll be doing lots of sand and water play. At this hot time of year, the kids love to play "beach" and get some relief from the heat with sprinklers and pools. We find that this allows many children to participate in cooperative play and take some fun, new chances.
So far, our Summer Camp program has been a blast! Dad's Day at the Zoo was awesome (despite the rain), and the first weeks of field trips have gone very well. The kids and teachers have been having a ton of fun and learning many new things. The JV & Varsity kids have been learning new outdoor games and practicing their good sportsmanship. Please keep in mind that on field trip days, your child needs to have a packed lunch in Ziploc bags (for easy clean-up) and needs to arrive by 8:30am, as some of our trips leave early in the morning.
