The Infant Room!

We take pride in our Infant Room! It is a quaint, loving, and nurturing space where our babies will be loved, cuddled, changed, fed, and washed without the teacher having to leave the environment. Our infant toys are bright, colorful, and sensory-oriented to stimulate the infant's developing brains. Floor time on activity blankets with toys, books, and songs is a large and important part of the babies' day. Not only does this time help them develop large motor skills, but it also allows the teachers and babies to form a strong emotional bond through one-on-one interaction.

Music also plays a big role in this class. We listen to all types of music and sing many songs. It is great to watch those little bodies sway, clap, and dance to the music! To keep parents informed of their child's daily activities, eating, toileting, and moods, we send home a daily sheet listing these details and any other important happenings from their day! Parents should feel free lo call anytime if they have questions or concerns, or a milestone to share with us! We want our parents to feel comfortable knowing that we are taking the best possible care of their baby.

Got the Blues Because You Miss your Little Darling?

We are here for you! Feel free to call us anytime to check on your child. We want to know that you are feeling secure in your choice of trusting us with the most important thing in your life! We are always available at drop-off time to hear about how their night and morning went, and for you to ask any questions of us. Also, pick-up time is a great oppurtunity for us to tell you what your child did during his or her busy day!

The Toddler Room!

Our Toddler Room is for children who have outgrown the Infant Room, and yet aren't quite ready for the hustle and bustle of our preschool program. The Toddler Room is designed and planned for children ages fifteen months to two-and-a-half years. These children will enjoy activities that will help them discover the new physical and social world that they are becoming a part of. Most of the toys and materials in this room are doubled and tripled. Expecting a child to ALWAYS share at this early stage of growth and development is not appropriate or within their realm of understanding, for they are the center of their own universe!

The toddlers have their own climbing, riding, pushing, and pulling equipment in their room, as their gross motor skills are growing rapidly at this stage of physical development. Because they enjoy varied sensory motor activities (such as finger painting, experimenting with play dough, and running their fingers through the sand and water table), our teachers plan creative activities to meet these developmental needs. Do you know what the ultimate fun activity is for a two-year-old child? Knocking over a big block tower and watching and hearing it crash!

GGRRRRRR!!!!!

Toddlers are curious and love to explore.
